i appreciate the artwork of laurie Lipton, and I am happy to see some of it in print. This "collection" from bienart, is too little for too high a price. There are a few full-sized pages of Laurie's best work, but mainly smaller images. The editorial choices on what to include in this 96 page volume are less than stellar, and include what I would describe as many "lesser works". In all 66 different works of art appear in this collection, plenty of blank pages and text as well. Kind of makes me appreciate a good google image search and access to a black & white image printer. Save your money, I wish I had.

glimps into the window of another dimension, pure fantasy gore.

Laurie Lipton is an underrated master of the hand-drawn perspective. She uses sick detail and intensive techniques to produce cartouche Gigeresque scenes of epic creep factor, often with skulls, masks, themes of people, and watching. This volume (published by [...]) has an in depth interview with the artist, and is afaik her most comprehensive collection in print. A necessity for any psychedelic art library. Would rate 666 stars if possible.

Absolutely stunning

I am so pleased I bought this book. I had seen it in bookshops but wasn't able to buy it until recently. The plates are very good quality reproductions. The text is interesting but my main interest is in the works themselves. This book is one of the best purchases I have made all year.
